Tinkers, also known as Vanner Horses, are small, solidly-built cobs native to the British Isles. Originally bred by Romani travelers, these horses were originally used to pull large horse-drawn wagons known as vardos. Many Tinkers have pinto coats, often referred to as "piebald" (black and white pinto) or "skewbald" (other base colors with pinto).
